Two more superdelegates declare: One for Each!

Hillary: "I didn't know the Barbara from Texas switched parties?"

Two more superdelegates declared their commitments
today, one to each of the campaigns; for Obama it was Connie Thurman (DNC-IN) and for Clinton is was Sen. Barbara Boxer (CA). Ms. Thurman a UAW superdelegate was quoted:
"Connie Thurman, a political representative for the United Auto Workers who also is a superdelegate because she's a Democratic National Committee member, recently committed to Obama and plans to stick with him.

'For one thing, he personally called her four times -- three times to ask if she had any questions he could answer about his policies, and the last time to thank her. I didn't get one call from Hillary's campaign until after I committed to Obama,' she said."
Politico.com has an interesting article about how the Clinton campaign is attempting to freeze the superdelegate commitments in "Superdelegates play Hardball" but since March 4th Obama has picked up 7 while Clinton got her first announcement since February 27th.
Democratic officials said Tuesday that the Obama campaign planned to unveil the support of 50 new superdelegates Wednesday. No such announcement came Wednesday, but several Obama backers said that such a plan had, in fact, been in the works. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) said Wednesday morning that she thought the plan was “going forward” but added that she had yet to check in with the campaign.
