Cha...Cha...Cha...Changes...Is it a staff or a college of lobbyist

CHANGING from Toss UP to a LEANER STATE?

Late last night
Insider/Advantage Poll conducted by Towery & Shusterman who are independent pollsters for decades released a poll that stated Obama was leading McCain in Colorado by TEN POINTS, 51% to 41%! What is most interesting is that in its internals eeirily match similar voter contact results here in the upper west side of Colorado Springs. If more polls validate this than Colorado moves to the Obama leaner state.

Internals of the InAdv/Polls

By Age
  • 18 to 29 yr-olds Obama 51% McCain 40%.........(9% undecided)
  • 30 to 44 yr-olds Obama 51% McCain 39%.........(10% undecided)
  • 45 to 64 yr-olds Obama 54% McCain 39%.........(7% undecided)
  • Plus 65 yr-olds Obama 34% McCain 58%..........(8% undecided)
By Race/Ethnicity
  • Caucasian Obama 44% McCain 46%...........(10% undecided)
  • African-American Obama 70% McCain 26%...........(4% undecided)

  • Republican Obama 14% McCain 80%.............(6% undecided)
  • Independents Obama 41% MCain 42% ............(17% undecided)
In the Springs we have found that Independents are declaring support for Obama at a rate of 42%, while McCain is at 22% with 20% undecided and those refusing to talk to us at 10% which appears to be undeclared McCain supporters. While Democratic voters are declaring themselves as Obama supporters at 84% and McCain support at 0.025%.

A STAFF or a "COLLEGE OF LOBBYISTS"

Recently John McCain has railed the excesses of Wall Street, this after bragging he was "the deregulator". Inn Tampa last Tuesday, he decryed that ONLY HE and Alaska Gov Palin, if elected, "are going to put an end to the reckless conduct, corruption, and unbridled greed that have caused a crisis on Wall Street......has been put at risk by the greed and mismanagement of Wall Street."

He then blasted CEOs who "seem to escape the consequences." He continued to denounce Wall Streeters who "dreamed up investment schemes that they themselves don't even understand" using "derivatives, credit default swaps, and mortgage-backed securities" to try "to make their own rules." He excoriated Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for gaming the system. And he slammed financial industry lobbyists for misguiding members of Congress. "I can promise you the days of dealing and special favors will soon be over in Washington." On Wednesday morning, after the federal government committed $85 billion to prevent the collapse of the American International Group (AIG) insurance conglomerate, McCain again assailed irresponsible corporate executives. "We need to change the way Washington and Wall Street does business," he proclaimed.
Okay John, nice story telling: Let be real, the Democratic National Committee, using publicly available records, has identified 177 lobbyists working for the McCain campaign as either aides, policy advisers, or fundraisers. Of those 177 lobbyists, according to a Mother Jones review of Senate and House records, at least 83 have in recent years lobbied for the financial industry McCain now attacks. I thought I would provide you a list of them for your review, sometimes the weight of utter mendacity simply says it all. Oh by the way 13 are from Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, 8 from Merrill Lynch, 7 from AIG, and a Lehman guy.
